Underground
So, this is just the basement of some café. Look how amazing it is though. It’s like a crazy little underground world.

Europe At Night
One of the great things about European cities is the way that they light their buildings and bridges at night. I don’t think we do this in North America? Or maybe we do, but I only notice it here because the buildings are so much prettier?

Le Musée d’Orsay
Canard and I couldn’t resist inserting ourselves into this painting by Frédéric Bazille:
It’s just so fun! We wanted to be there in that salon, conversing with the artists of the day.
But really, my favourite painting in the Musée d’Orsay is Monet’s La Rue Montorgueil, à Paris, fête du 30 juin 1878:
This painting is amazing. Honestly, you can’t really tell here, but hanging in the gallery it looks like the canvas is lit from within. Seriously, when you view it from across the room it practically glows. Seeing it up close literally made my day.
